What I do...

I specialise in hand drawing bespoke portraits, in my favourite medium, coloured pencil. My expertise and skill in the study of portraiture enables me to deliver intimately observed pieces and my passion for drawing has been my life long love.

I have a degree from The Glasgow School of Art, and since graduating I have been teaching Fine Art & Design to young people aged 11-18.

How I got started...

I actually made my first bespoke sign for my own wedding. I needed a welcome sign and knew I had the ability to make something myself and so this idea grew organically and informed my first bespoke piece!

I wanted to create something that would capture my fiancé and I just as we were; happy and in love. I poured so much love into it and it became the gift that I gave to myself.

WHO DO I WORK WITH?

I work with such a broad range of clientele, but they all have one thing in common; they want to remember something special. Whether their commission is a gift for another or a gift to themselves, my clients come to me because they want an artwork that is realistic to the original photograph, and that is my speciality.

Often I work with clients from the start of their family's journey, from their first pet, to their wedding day, to having their first child. My favourite part of my job is that I get to create pieces which mean so much people, so I always pour everything into each and every portrait I draw.
